Today feels so different from the 1st visit to the gynae. First of all, my mum personally called my man to go to my home and grab the ginseng chicken soup she had cooked for me. Next, my man actually left on time from work to pick me up early !!! Just imagine 15mins earlier than the time he promised!! What a gem ......
Short update on my physiological changes. Yes, i have enlarged breast that could fill up a full C cup now. And mind you, they are painful! I have been getting the nausea attacks despite the fact that nothing came out from my stomach. It's a blessing i guessed. On top of all these, there is this funny discomfort at my gastric all the time. I can't be too hungry nor full if not i will be nausea again!! Oh oh, the worst part is my skin! It's all CLOGGGGGGEEEDDDD. Good grief, i still need to be a bride... sigh...
My weight was first measured upon arrival. Heng! I gained 1kg, now @ 56kg. (But yida lost 3kgs. Not coz of my pregnancy, but coz his BMI is threatening him at an index of 27!) We got to see Dr Wong at 550pm despite being early. Argh... Well, she's really a very nice gynae that even I don't mind waiting awhile more.
After a short discussion, i laid on the bed for the second ultrasound. I didn't tot the small little limbs were so noticeable on screen. The little baby was sleeping while the scan was on. When Dr Wong decided to wake bb up, it actually started kicking the legs and punching the 'air'. Both of us were so amazed and elated. It was pure cuteness! But the movements were very short-lived and it went back to sleep. It was like 4 seconds! Dr Wong asked me to cough a few times to wake the baby up. It finally got disturbed and started stretching the body. Haha... so cute!!
I've been reading. Books say the movements were all reflexes. I wished to think that it was the baby's wish to move around. Oh, we saw the umbilical cord hanging right from the top. Doc says the baby is free to move anywhere in the amniotic sac but gravity explained why it was sleeping at this position now.

Grown almost 6x fr last scan, now measuring at 3.04cm.
